its so not!

So I was rather gutted this year that Starbucks arent doing a christmas album. I have brought one from them for the last 3years & its wonderful older music with Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong & so on on the albums. They put together albums type of christmas music I absolutely love. Actually I have just discovered that its just Starbucks NZ who have decided not to sell the starbucks album of this year becuase they have done one. Retards :(

Ok so I have been getting so many compliments lately from people I havent seen in a long time who say I look great that I have lost weight & am looking fab. Thank you people but I really feel its undeserving. I havent had the best motivation in the world for this exercise thing & I swear that there is more weight around my belly than there was 3 weeks ago. Current measurement of the waist: 92.5cm - haa ok so I have lost .5cm since 7th November & according to weighing myself  Friday morning my weight has not shifted a bit. I think I know what it is that could be causing it - well I hope - I think its the fact that Im not doing the exercise part in the workout - I was terrible & only did it week one, then only one day of week two. Have no idea why I have no motivation for this exercise thing I obviously dont want to loose the weight enough.

The other reason is my diet, its not exactly crash hot. I eat meat & chips for dinner, the occassional mixed vegie meal. Lunches are ham & cheese sandwiches, brekky is 2 slices rye, wholegrain or soy & linseed toast. I have a few problems with this 1 Gareth doesnt eat salad. To him it feels hollow & tasteless and doesnt feel like a meal. 2 Gareth doesnt like many vegies, they consist of red onion, mushrooms & capsicum 3 I cannot afford to buy my own seperate meals so I can have salads & so on. Its pissing the fuck out of me when people tell me fruit and vege are cheap NO THEY ARE FUCKING NOT YOU ASSES!!!! If I wanted to make one salad for myself a week I would choose: Iceberg Lettuce $3.48 or I prefer prepacked lettuce in bag as it lasts longer $2.98-$5.00, 1 tomato 80cish - I prefer cherry tomatoes but only when can afford $2.48, possibly an avocado $2.49ea, 1 capsicum 2.27, 1 carrot gratted in there roughly 50c, about 4 mushrooms roughly 50c, feta cheese if I can afford I like a bit in it $6 at cheapest but only occassionally so normally no feta. This my friends is $16.60 at the cheap option or $19.74 at the more pricier option (Prices taken from countdown website tonight). HOW THE FUCK IS THIS CHEAP PEOPLE???? (yes you might of guessed it grates my nerves something cronic so I have a bone to pick about people ranting about fruit & vege being cheap) - so I go with the cheaper option of ham & cheese on rye bread. Because at least Gareth and I go halves on the cheese & ham. Then that way all I have to do is spend $3 on the bread. I know that this option is what is possibly causing the tire around my waist to stay put but when you are trying your best to save as much money as you possibly can then $17 is alot for a healthy meal. Oh and premade salads cost $5-$9 bucks a pop!

So I think the type of food I eat - lots of meat, home baked fries, no enough fruit & vege then alot of bread, ham & cheese plus not doing the physical exercise only the run/walk in the morning is almost as useless as not exercising at all. But at least I am actually doing something right??!?! Tell me where do you get the right kind of motivation from? Hmmm I dunno I have to really really want something is all I can think of. My alarm is set for 6am so that I can do my morning walk/run thing. Tuesday I am just going to have to make my arse to those exercises & again on thrus. The only thing that I have been achieving successfully has been the 10 thousand steps thing. I only failed a bit as I dont have week 2's records written down. I know I got over the limit each day but without the proof I have simply made week 3 week 2. So here is week two (technically week 3):

Anyways I need a good kick up the arse to motivate me again. Haa haa sounds like last week. At least there have been no ankle problems again
Till next time:
Someones cute artwork on Etsy - I love so wanted to share please note not my work :O)

  2. That would really make sense, Gareth has a big plant pot outside on our little deck. We tried to grow stuff in but I dont know what happened, all we have are a variety of leaves. Think the seeds were faaarrr too old. But yes I have been reminded to head to a fruit & vege store. So will try do that me thinks. Cheers :O)
